National clinical audits move to coordinated monthly publication
Published: 12 Jul 2017
Starting July 2017 the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP) will move to one coordinated publication day per month, the second Thursday of each month.
This follows NHS England request to publish NHS England-commissioned reports the same day as other NHS England performance statistics.
There will be some exceptions to the monthly publication day, where programmes have launches coordinated with national specialist conferences for instance. Please see the NCAPOP Publication Schedule for details.
On the 13 July 2017 the following reports will be published:
• Suicide in Children and Young People
• Non-Invasive Ventilation
• Ophthalmology
• Diabetes (Complications and Mortality)
• Diabetes (Insulin Pump Report)
• Diabetes (Paediatrics)
• Dementia
There are a larger than normal number of publications in July 2017 given the pre- and post-election periods, where NCAPOP publications are forbidden. Thereafter, on average, four programmes report each month.
