Reports and recommendations
We publish dozens of clinical audit and outcome reports every year and each report contains multiple recommendations for improvement. To help NHS Trust Boards and commissioning organisations to maintain oversight of those reports for all areas of service delivery, we’ve created this single point of reference for those recommendations. Last update: 15 January 2020.
Note: as of 13 December 2019 infographics are available to download from the report page linked in the recommendations document. Within this document, ‘column I’ denotes if a report contains an infographic for ease of reference.
As above, infographics are now available to download on individual report pages linked in the recommendations document.
Previously we created a single point of reference for the infographics published in all HQIP reports. This infographics collation was presented in PDF format. Last update: 10 October 2019.

Every project within the NCAPOP has been established to address a clinical area (or areas) where healthcare improvement is required, and the common aim of each project is to have a positive impact on patient care. This compendium provides a summary of some of the key impacts the projects have had. It covers the period June 2017 to February 2019. Impact has been categorised into four categories: national; system; local and public. Further information is available here.
HQIP National Clinical Audit and Enquiries Directory
HQIP maintains the National Clinical Audit and Enquiries Directory to provide information on the National Clinical Audits and Enquiries that are in existence. The Directory is a useful tool in assisting healthcare providers with planning their audit activity each year. Further information is available here.
