Location: Homeworking - HQIP is a homeworking organisation with excellent IT support. Travel into central London is required on an occasional basis (c. once a month) for scheduled corporate activity

Salary: Circa £21,675- £26,000 pro rata

Details: 0.5 WTE (18.75 hours per week)

The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) manages NHS clinical healthcare work programmes on behalf of NHS England and other devolved nations. This includes the National Clinical Audit & Patient Outcome Programme (NCAPOP) which consists of over forty national improvement projects.

We are a small, friendly team working in a fast paced environment and are seeking Project Support Officer.  If you have the relevant experience and skills, we would love to hear from you.

Project Support Officer

The Project Support Officer provides assistance to the team including the Director of Operations, Associate Directors and Project Managers in the ongoing commissioning and management of the programme, as well as a number of specific programme-wide tasks and projects. HQIP is committed to supporting the development of its staff.

Key requirements of this position are:

  • Experience of administration within a busy environment and arranging meetings and/or formal events
  • Comprehensive knowledge and regular use of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and video conferencing software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to produce effective and clear written communications for both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure prioritising competing demands effectively
