Clinical Audit Awareness Week: Event recordings

Clinical Audit Awareness Week 2023 (#CAAW23) was held from 19-23 June, and recordings have been uploaded to YouTube:

For more information on Clinical Audit Awareness Week, visit our dedicated webpage. You can find also further information on the Clinical Audit Heroes awards here.

Tender – Mental Health Clinical Outcome Review Programme

We are seeking to commission an organisation that will support the delivery of the Mental Health Clinical Outcome Review Programme (MH CORP). The programme will initially be delivered for NHS-funded care in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Jersey and Isle of Man but in future may include Guernsey.

Read more about this on our dedicated tenders page.

CVDPREVENT – data update

A short 2-page update report, with data up to March 2023, has been published by CVDPREVENT, the national primary care audit on the prevention of cardiovascular disease.  This graphic-focused update provides highlights from the most up-to-date CVDPREVENT data and includes atrial fibrillation, hypertension and cholesterol.

The update can be found here, while additional outputs and full length reports can be found here.

For more information and data visit the CVDPREVENT website.

The National Respiratory Audit Programme (NRAP)

The National Respiratory Audit Programme (NRAP) team are grateful for HQIP’s support as we transitioned from the National Asthma and COPD Audit Programme (NACAP) in June 2023. Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to engage with clinicians, commissioners, service providers, patients, and people who use our data for improvement across the country to ensure that they get the best use of our innovative real-time and historic reports. If you have any questions about NRAP, or would like to get involved, please contact us via [email protected]. There is also a wealth of additional information available via our website.

Join our Service User Network

It is now easier than ever – and without the need for a fixed commitment – to join our Service User Network (SUN); and we are seeking those with lived experience as patients and carers to sign up to receive regular newsletters about involvement opportunities and updates on local and national engagement activity.

Opportunities will include: inputting into the development of what an HQIP commissioned programme should look like; new project proposals; specific patient advocate positions on national audits; resource reviews and many others.

Please read more about HQIP’s SUN here and complete this form to get involved.
