HQIP Service User Network

Published: 03 Jan 2023

HQIP hosts a Service User Network (SUN) for people who are interested in contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services. We welcome all people with lived experiences as patients and carers to join our SUN. The SUN was established in 2009 and has had over 40 patient and carer advocates working in an advisory capacity to HQIP.

Once you have completed this form you will receive regular newsletters with updates about HQIP projects that you could contribute to.

Recently we have opened up the way the SUN works by changing the structure. There is no commitment once you sign up, all opportunities will be shared via a newsletter, and you can contact Kim Rezel at any time to register your interest in any area of work.

Specific opportunities may be targeted to you if you state that there is a particular area that you are interested in.

An example might be that if you have expressed an interest in maternity care that when we are commissioning for any of the programmes around maternity for example National Maternity & Perinatal Audit, then we will contact you to see if you would like to be involved in developing the specification (what the audit should look like) for the programme.

As of 2022 people who are interested in joining the Service User Network can complete this form to receive regular newsletters with updates about HQIP work and where you can get involved as a contributor.
