Part of the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN), this programme draws on the work of a feasibility pilot audit which began in 2019. It aims to produce granular information on diagnosis, treatment and surgery, to enable assessment of how we can improve care in England and Wales, and deliver better results.

Supporting improvement
The NOCA Quality Improvement Plan describes the approach taken across the NATCAN cancer audits to develop improvement goals and performance indicators / metrics, aiming for these to be measurable, actionable and improvable. Further information can be found on the programme website.
