The purpose of the tenth Annual Report of the National Lung Cancer Audit (NLCA), is to summarise the key findings of the audit for patients diagnosed with lung cancer who were first seen in secondary care in 2013.

The history, purpose and methodology of the audit have been extensively documented and further details can be obtained from the HSCIC website (NHS Digital). More extensive analyses on the 2013 data, including case-mix adjusted data in an electronic spreadsheet format will be available from the HSCIC website in due course.
