Reports | Published: 30 Apr 2013

The 2013 Annual Report of the National Audit of Dementia (care in general hospitals) examines the quality of care received by people with dementia in general hospitals. It builds on the previous round of the audit which ran during 2010/11 which concluded that hospitals needed to design and implement an integrated approach to the care of people with dementia and highlighted improvements to be made at all levels. This report collected data on patients between April and October 2012. The National Audit of Dementia is part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).
