Influencing Change Hero 2024

The Influencing Change Hero Award is one of five categories in our Clinical Audit Hero Awards. This award recognises clinical audits and other quality improvement projects that are supporting change in healthcare practice, planning or process. The winner(s) will be announced at an online Lunch & Learn event on Thurs 27 June 2024 from 12.30-1.30pm (details of which can be found here).

Eligibility criteria

Excellence in clinical audit and quality improvement techniques, helping to fuel change leading to real and impactful improvements in health and care, must be demonstrated.

Please also make clear how the following points have been met, in your nomination:

  • Must involve clinical audit(s)* or similar evidence/data-informed healthcare improvement project(s)
  • The project period must be as recent as practically possible (ideally run since October 2022; however, we recognise – and accept – that some projects may involve longer lead times)
  • Those nominated must have led or made a substantial contribution to the successful delivery of the project
  • Shows evidence of supporting change in healthcare practice, planning or process.

Notes:

  • Individuals or teams can be nominated by themselves or by others
  • Projects, individuals or teams can be involved in any type of healthcare setting in the UK
  • Open to projects at a local, system or national level.

Note: We want to encourage entries from all projects that support evidence-based quality improvement in health and care, so please contact us if you have any issues with any of these criteria outlined here.

Judging criteria

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Clear project design
  • Championing data-driven and evidence-based improvement as good practice
  • Evidence of meaningful change
  • Evidence of improvement
  • Innovative approach.
