The HQIP Trustees’ Report and Accounts outlines our objectives, achievements and financial report for the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. It details some of the activities we delivered this year, from the perspective of our role as a ‘bridge builder’ across the sector, and also contains information about our plans for the future.

Key achievements highlighted in this report include:
- Partnership working
- Commissioning and managing the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP), with a spotlight on the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN)
- Hosting the National Joint Registry
- Supporting the use of HQIP-commissioned data for wider public benefit, featuring how we involved patients in data sharing
- Effective patient engagement, with a spotlight on our Service User Network (SUN)
- Addressing health inequities
- Clinical Audit Awareness Week and awards, our national campaign to promote and celebrate the benefits of clinical audit and data-informed healthcare improvement.
