New resources published November 2024

We are pleased to announce that the following new quality improvement resources from national clinical audits / outcome review programmes have been published today. Commissioned by HQIP, they include reports, infographics, data and other outputs to support quality improvement:

• Paediatric diabetes – PREMS report 2024 (National Paediatric Diabetes Audit, NPDA)
• End of life care – Planning for the End (National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death, NCEPOD)
• Stroke – State of the Nation report (Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme, SSNAP)
• Vascular care – State of the Nation 2024 report (National Vascular Registry, NVR)
• Respiratory care – Organisational audit 2024 (National Respiratory Audit Programme, NRAP)
• Child mortality – Data release 2024 (National Child Mortality Database, NCMD).

Cancer: In addition, also note that the National Prostate Cancer Audit (NPCA) has released a quarterly update which reports on the performance indicator Emergency readmission within 90 days of radical prostate cancer surgery.
