Jacqueline Andrews

Jackie has been qualified as a medical doctor for over 30 years. She trained in Edinburgh, Auckland (NZ) and London before spending many years as a Consultant Rheumatologist and as an executive Medical Director in hospitals in Yorkshire.

She is passionate about bringing data-driven, evidenced-based healthcare to patients and is widely known for her knowledge and leadership of continuous quality improvement in healthcare. She can draw on her many years of experience working with data through her leadership of research, innovation and digital programmes as a Director of Research and Innovation and now as an Executive Lead for Digital Services at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, where she recently led and implemented a £30M+ Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. Committed to supporting gender equality in leadership, in 2014 Jacqueline set up and led the Leeds Female Leaders Network (LFLN), a board-level initiative between Leeds Teaching Hospitals and the University of Leeds with over 800 current members.
