The learning package covers the stages in the clinical audit process that come after a clinical audit has been designed and data have been collected. The package is about what to do to transform the clinical audit data into improvements in care that actually benefit patients or patient care. The learning package is intended for clinical, clinical audit and management staff, including senior and junior clinical staff, trust board clinicians, senior and service level managers, staff providing support for clinical audit, and any others interested in clinical audit.

Content

The package consists of slide presentations with voice-overs. There is also a workbook, Transforming Clinical Audit Data into Quality Improvements, which includes a summary of the content and practical work on clinical audits that can be carried out by a learner. Print the book before going to any of the modules.

The package consists of six modules, each of which takes 30-45 minutes to complete. The modules are to be followed in sequence. Content is not repeated from module to module. The modules are:
