HQIP is a small, dynamic organisation with a broad remit. Our aim is to improve health outcomes by enabling those who commission, deliver and receive healthcare to measure and improve our healthcare services adopting multi-professional partnership working.

New Business Development Lead
HQIP is an independent not for profit organisation led by a consortium of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the Royal College of Nursing and National Voices. We commission and manage NHS national quality improvement activities, on behalf of NHS England and the Welsh Government, which include the National Clinical Audit Programme and Clinical Outcome Review Programmes.
The New Business Development lead will design a business development strategy to expand HQIP’s service, product offer and client base beyond the current portfolio. The post holder will work collaboratively across the organisation to develop a 3-5 year strategy and ensure delivery, development and income targets linked to this strategy are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering a strategy for HQIP, with clear income streams
- Advising the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board regarding new business development
- Develop the organisation’s value proposition with senior colleagues
- Developing and delivering new business proposals
- Lead and manage new business development activity in agreed target markets and areas working with the staff team
