The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) was established in April 2008 to promote quality in healthcare, and in particular to increase the impact that clinical audit has on healthcare quality in England and Wales. HQIP is led by a consortium comprising the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, The Royal College of Nursing and National Voices.
We are seeking an individual with senior level experience, ideally with a passion for healthcare. You will join a diverse and supportive group of Trustees and will help to shape and strengthen an organisation which exists to help patients get better care by commissioning clinical audits (and other projects designed to measure standards of patient care) for specific conditions and promoting the results and recommendations to create a cycle of improvement in care.
The role of Treasurer is strategic with a primary purpose of advising the Board – oversight of the management accounts, financial decisions, accounting requirements and the charity’s annual accounts. The board meets four times a year (day time meetings using Zoom/Teams), in addition you may be required to attend occasional specific finance meetings. The position is unremunerated with expenses for attending meetings covered.
