HQIP NCA 2142 – National Maternity and Perinatal Audit

The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) is seeking to commission an organisation that will support the delivery of the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit.

The audit will be delivered nationally including England, Wales and Scotland. Further devolved nations may join the programme at a later date under aspirational intent outlined in section 1.3.1 of Annex A – NMPA Service Specification of this ITT.

The successful bidder will be required to build on the achievements of the audit to date and enhance the ability of the audit to be used for healthcare improvement. The total contract value is £1,314,000 for the duration of three years. It is anticipated that the new service will commence in January 2023.

HQIP conducted this procurement in accordance with the Open Procedure, in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 amended by Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (SI 2020/1319): Brexit SI.

Taking this aspirational intent into account, including the possibility that a contract extension may be offered for an additional two years, the potential ceiling value is £2,806,812.80 GBP excluding VAT.
