Clinical Audit Awareness Week 2017 takes place between the 20 – 24 November

Events | Published: 03 Nov 2017

This is the fifth annual Clinical Audit Awareness Week, organised by HQIP, to enable Trusts, Health Boards, audit providers and other organisations to celebrate the best in clinical audit and encourage collaboration in improving patient care.

Here’s some information on how you and your organisation can take part:

HQIP QI Theatre – LIVE streaming on Facebook – 21 and 22 November

Join us at London’s Excel Centre where we’ll be hosting the HQIP Quality Improvement Theatre as part of the 2017 Patient First conference.

Chaired by HQIP medical director Professor Danny Keenan and co-hosted with NQICAN, this year’s programme features engaging and interactive ‘how to’ seminars, tutorials, case studies and discussions on the topic of audit and QI.

To register to attend visit the Patient First website and enter booking code PFHQ17 to collect your free education pass.

We’ll also be live streaming a selection of talks direct to the HQIP Facebook page.

The Audit Tea Break

Why not host an Audit Tea Break – a great opportunity to bring people together, talk about the benefits of audit and swap ideas on how to improve patient care. To get you started we’ve put together a free resource pack, available to download at the bottom of this page, full of fun ideas, invites, posters, quizzes and much more.

Share your Tea Break pictures on social media using #CAAW17 @hqip.

Clinical Audit Heroes

Who’s your clinical audit hero?

The search is on! We’re looking for individuals who’ve made a positive difference in quality improvement. They can be a clinician, a patient volunteer, audit staff – anyone whose actions have helped to improve patient care.
Nominees will feature in our CAAW Hall of Fame launching soon. To nominate your hero simply complete a nomination form (form available to download at the bottom of this page) and return, along with a photo of your nominee, to [email protected]

Online activity

We’ll be posting case studies, Tea Break news and celebrating our 2017 #AuditHeroes online and on social media. You can find us on both Facebook and Twitter. Join in the conversation and upload your photos using #CAAW and @HQIP.
