This 2012 National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP) audit report is has been developed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) Clinical Standards department within the Research and Policy Division.

The report focusses on the care of babies admitted to neonatal units in England and Wales during 2013. The audit commenced in 2006 and was rolled out throughout England in 2007, with Wales coming on board in 2011 The audit is part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).
