Vacancy – Chair of the National Joint Registry Steering Committee

The National Joint Registry (NJR) is pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for the role of Chair of the NJR Steering Committee (NJRSC).

As Chair of the NJRSC, the successful appointee will lead and engage fully in collective consideration of NJR issues, taking account of the full range of relevant factors and stakeholder interests, help contribute to the advice given to NHSE/I and key stakeholders and participate in and monitor the work of the NJR sub-committees and other relevant committees as required.

Potential candidates will bring experience of leading an organisation at Board and/or national level, with the ability to motivate and empower a committee and with very well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills. This experience will most likely have been gained in an NHS or healthcare-related environment and with an understanding of the political environment in which the NJR operates.
