HQIP announces appointment of two new directors

HQIP is pleased to welcome the arrival of two new operations directors – Jill Stoddart who will lead the National Clinical Audit  and Patient Outcomes Programme team from 13 July and Sue Latchem who joins on a two-year secondment in the newly-created role of HQIP core services operations director role on June 13 .  Both have a wealth of experience in healthcare and quality improvement.

Jill is currently international director for the Care Quality Improvement Department (CQID) at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and brings comprehensive expertise in evidence-based healthcare and quality improvement.  She is clinically qualified, with over fifteen years of experience within secondary and tertiary healthcare sectors.

Meanwhile Sue’s most recent role saw her lead the Future Hospital Programme, also at the RCP, and her career includes more than 30 years experience of healthcare within the NHS in clinical practice, the development of evidence based guidance and supporting  patient and public involvement in improving healthcare .  Her role will include overseeing core services at HQIP and leading on new business development.

Speaking about the appointments HQIP’s CEO Jane Ingham said “We are delighted to welcome these key team members. They will provide significant leadership and logistical guidance, further strengthening HQIP’s ability to deliver its Vision to improve health outcomes by enabling those who commission, deliver and receive healthcare to measure and improve our healthcare services.
