Adult cardiac surgery outcomes publication
About
Adult Cardiac Surgery has been included in the Consultant Outcomes Publication (COP) programme since its start in 2012. The National Adult Cardiac Surgery Audit (NACSA) is managed by the National Institute for Cardiovascular Outcomes Research (NICOR) at the University College London (UCL).
Clinical direction and strategy for the audit is provided by the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgeons (SCTS) and the project board.
Under the COP programme, the registry reports on all adult patients undergoing major heart surgery, collecting data on all major heart operations carried out on NHS patients in the UK.
Results
Individual consultant information will be on the NICOR website and on the NHS directory for Data on speciality treatments.
