RCN-accredited 'Certificate in Clinical Audit' goes live

A new RCN-backed online clinical audit training course, ‘Certificate in Clinical Audit in Health and Social Care', has been launched by academic group RPD Research & Professional Development.

RPD claims the course is unique in its professionally-accredited status.

"This new online course which is accredited by the Royal Collage of Nursing and is suitable for those new to audit, and to experienced auditors who wish to expand their knowledge of qualitative methods of data collection," explained RPD's Dr Patricia Maitland.

"It teaches the application of audit to people working in both health and social care settings. Given the government drive to increase collaboration between these two sectors, this is a vital feature of the course."
