Professional body for quality improvement: have your say now
The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) is continuing to explore support for the creation of a professional body for quality improvement in health and social care by commissioning a survey in partnership with the Social Care Association (SCA) and conducted by the Professional Associations Research Network (PARN).

Aimed at all professionals within the health and social care fields the survey takes just 15 minutes to complete. The move follows a closing session at the 2011 HQIP Annual Conference on 11 October which saw around two thirds of delegates vote in favour of the establishment of such a body.
"It is vital we now take the next step and analyse in greater depth what professionals in these fields would like to see a professional body do for them and what they would be prepared to commit to themselves in order to make it viable," said HQIP Quality Improvement and Development Lead Kate Godfrey.
"I would urge as many people as possible to take this opportunity and have their say at this important stage."
