Product procurement briefing

On 15th January 2009, HQIP hosted two product procurement briefings in relation to the development of audit tools programme.

HQIP is developing a suite of national tools and products in order to help local teams deliver local audit activity, including guidance documentation, audit tools and templates, and these briefings covered:

• an introduction to HQIP
• the vision for clinical audit
• products to be commissioned
• the tendering process
• bidding for development funds
• next steps.

Procurement process
The closing date for submissions has now passed (interested parties were required to complete all necessary forms and return to HQIP by 12 noon on Friday 6th February 2009.) Winning bids will be annouced by the end of February 2009.

Instructions for tenderers
This document covers the procurement process and includes the Forms of Tender and Pricing Schedule. Tenderers are required to read this document thoroughly before completing any documentation.

Interested parties are required to email the Procurement and Contracts team at procurement@hqip.org.uk for a copy of the HQIP Terms and Conditions.

Additional information
This document is for the purposes of developing a tool or product that will be used under the HQIP Brand. This document is not required for the procurement stages of the product development programme.
