Privacy

The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership Ltd (HQIP) takes your privacy seriously. This policy describes how and why we obtain, store and process data which can identify you.

By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of the information as described here. If we decide to make changes to this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page so that you will always know what information we collect, and how we use it.

Use and purpose of collected personal data

On this website, we only store personal information relating to you with your permission. You may choose to reveal information to us if, for example, you register or complete a survey. HQIP may use the information in connection with processing your enquiries or to help improve our service.

We would only share such information with third parties with your express permission or as required by the applicable law. Information is used solely for the purposes described below.

What information do we collect and why?

We collect information about you so that we can personalise your use of the site, assist your use of the site and make general improvements.  Depending upon your selections for our data protection questions we may arrange for you to be sent information about related products and services from us and carefully selected third parties (see section 4).  You may update the answers to your questions at any time.

Information is collected from you when you register with us, or when you contribute to or use some of the features on the site.  The information we collect is clearly set out on the web page on which we collect it. In addition we may collect IP address and use cookies.

  • IP Addresses
We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems, to administer our website, and to gather demographic information. When you visit our site, we recognise only your domain name and not your email address. We will see your email address only if you give it to us by filling out a form or by sending us an email message.
  • Cookies
We use cookies to deliver personalised content, to save you having to re-enter your password repeatedly, to keep track of your event booking information, and to tailor our offerings to how you and others use the site.
  • User registration
If you choose to register, we will send you requested information or products, other product information, news, or promotions.
  • Email addresses
If you choose to give us your email address, we will communicate with you via email. We will not share your email address with others outside of HQIP. You can choose not to receive any more email at any time.  Depending on how your email application is set up, information about you may be transmitted automatically when you send email to HQIP.

Event registration

Our site includes forms that you fill out to request information or to book events. These forms may collect your financial information, such as your banking details or credit card numbers. HQIP promises to use any financial information that you submit solely for billing and payment purposes for that special transaction.

Online surveys

Our surveys may ask you for demographic information, such as postal codes or area of interest. If the online survey collects contact data, we may use that data to send you further information only if we specifically asked for your permission in the survey. You are free to retract any permission you gave.

Do we disclose your information?

We will only pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties to enable us to perform services requested by you or with your prior consent.

If you give your consent, we will pass your contact details to third parties who may then occasionally send communications to you to provide information, offers and services that may be of interest to you.

In certain circumstances we may need to disclose information about you if you breach this privacy policy or if you breach the Terms and Conditions.  We may also disclose or access your account if required to do so by law or by any Governmental body.

We will only pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties overseas to enable us to perform services requested by you.
