New HQIP website goes live

The re-design of the HQIP website - http://www.hqip.org.uk/ - is now complete, with many new features introduced and many more scheduled to come online before the end of the year.

As well as a fresh look and feel, content has been reorganised to make the ‘user journey' simpler and more intuitive.

Among the new features of the site is the NCAPOP Library, where all the latest annual reports by the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme are now stored. See more >>

Guidance from the Local Quality Improvement Team and other HQIP departments now falls under one, cohesive, Guidance & Support area. See more >>

Patient and Public Engagement (PPE) now has its own dedicated area, reflecting HQIP's successful ongoing PPE strategy to help put patients at the heart of audit and healthcare improvement. See more >>

The Local Clinical Audit area has also been revamped, with the local networks section clearly arranged by region or specific interest, with a great deal of new features to follow this autumn. See more >>

The new Other Quality Improvement Initiatives area is dedicated to the further development of the "core model of [clinical service] accreditation, shared across the health service" , requested by Sir Bruce Keogh in 2009 of AOMRC, which the Academy has asked HQIP to coordinate. This area has launched with information on the work by the UKQC, which will be collaborating with HQIP on future projects, details of which to follow shortly. See more >>

In the coming weeks, HQIP expects the redesigned NCAF to come online, and a raft of new functionality is set to be added to the forum ahead of an autumn relaunch. Similarly, a raft of new products will go live this autumn, designed to create greater transparency of audit results and the groundbreaking CAKE platform, which will enable simple creation of localised audits, which can be benchmarked.
