New audit topics announced
2 December 2008: Following the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme's (NCAPOP) call for proposals for new national clinical audits, the National Clinical Audit Advisory Group (NCAAG) have shortlisted priorities and a decision has been made to proceed to tender on the below topics:
- Asthma care services
- ACT multi-agency care pathway for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions
- End of life care provided by primary care, using after death analysis
- Epilepsy 12. Quality and delivery of care for children and young people with suspected and diagnosed epilepsies
- Essence of care - food and nutrition
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Management of venous leg ulcers
- Management of patients with stage 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD)
- Outcomes of referrals to paediatricians for suspected child maltreatment
- Patient outcomes and experience of treatment for women with heavy menstrual bleeding
- Prescribing practice for treatment-resistant schizophrenia
- Quality improvement programme for the Pain Database.
