Safer mental health services toolkit launched by confidential inquiry
17 December 2012
National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Homicide announcement
A 'Safer mental health services' toolkit, launched by the National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide and Homicide by People with Mental Illness (NCISH), is now available.
With this toolkit, mental health care providers can self-assess their local services and individual practice against key Inquiry recommendations. These recommendations are based on the work the Inquiry has carried out over the last decade.
The toolkit is solely for the benefit of mental health providers, the Inquiry does not expect to receive the results. NCISH is one of six Clinical Outcome Review Programmes managed by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership.
