NCAPOP announces quarterly seminar programme

11 November 2011

HQIP's National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP) Team will be holding a quarterly seminar programme for 2012.  The events will be exclusively for the suppliers commissioned by HQIP to carry out the national clinical audit work for 29 current conditions audited (eleven new topics have recently been added and commissioning for these has just begun).

Clinical audit project teams will have the chance to attend a series of talks covering:

  • Data sharing and governance (Feb 2012)
  • PROMS/PREMS and ethical considerations (April 2012)
  • Outliers - making guidance a reality (Oct 2012)
  • Contracting and procurement for beginners - financial governance and reporting (Dec 2012)

The day will also include Q&A sessions on key areas of HQIP's work, which has an impact upon the projects.

The first seminar will be held in February (date and venue to be confirmed) and will be on ‘Data Sharing and Information Governance'. A panel of expert speakers will be invited and the half day events will conclude with a sandwich lunch and an opportunity for networking.

NCAPOP recommend attendance of one representative from each project - the event is free.

For further information or to book a place please email julie.stacey@hqip.org.uk or call 0207 469 2511.

Projects will be asked during Contract Reviews or other meetings, if there are any particular topics which they feel would translate well into a seminar and would be of interest to others. Please email or phone in any suggestions to Julie Stacey, contact details above.
