National Cancer Registries

Cancer registration in England is conducted by nine regional registries which collect and collate data on cancers resident in their area, and submit a standard dataset on these registrations to ONS.

  • North West Cancer Intelligence Service (NWCIS) 
  • Northern and Yorkshire Cancer Cancer Registry and Information Service 
  • West Midlands Cancer Intelligence Unit 
  • East Anglian Cancer Registry 
  • Oxford Cancer Intelligence Unit 
  • Thames Cancer Registry 
  • South West Cancer Intelligence Service
