King's Fund launches PPI tool for 'experience-based co-design'

5 September 2011

The King’s Fund has launched an ‘experience-based co-design’ online tool to help healthcare staff create effective patient-based quality improvement initiatives.

According to the organisation, the toolkit ‘outlines a powerful and effective way of improving patients’ experience of services, and helps you assess how it can help you meet your aims’.

The package is split into 16 sub-sections covering topics such as developing project plans, recruiting patients and evaluating success.

Within each of these, general guidance is supported by ‘key points’ sections and expert video tutorials.
