Janet Davies
Janet Davies has been an Executive Director of the Royal College of Nursing since September 2005 and has the strategic lead for nursing and services to members.
She represents the RCN at the National Social Partnership Forum, working with the Department of Health and NHS Employers on issues of policy and employment and chairs the internal Health and Social Care Policy Group and the Future Nurse Future Workforce group. In addition, Janet also chairs the Management Board meeting of the National Clinical Guidelines Centre of NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) and is an Executive member of the European Federation of Public Service Unions. Janet is also currently working on a modernisation programme ensuring nursing in the RCN is responsive and pro-active.
