The new CQUIN guidance and implications for clinical audit follows The Department of Health's recently issued new guidance around using the Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) payment framework for 2010/111.
It outlines developments to the CQUIN payment framework and should be read as an addendum to the guidance published in December 2008 and in the context of the 2010/11 NHS Operating Framework 2.
The Quality Accounts guidance is designed to keep those involved in clinical audit in step with the latest findings on the subject.
