HQIP launches first in a series of position papers
2 November 2011
HQIP today launched the first in a series of position papers, as outlined in its four-point quality improvement strategy. The papers will discuss audit and registries in the context of their contribution to other, wider policy matters, and in relation to other areas of quality improvement.
"The first of these papers is on Information in the NHS, which addresses the relationship of audit and register data to information, outcomes and transparency" explains HQIP Chief Exectuive Robert Burgess. "Very shortly, this will be joined by a paper on training and learning specifically for quality improvement and I will be pleased to hear, from colleagues, their views on a common approach to codifying good practice and agreeing core content for training."
