HQIP funding for clinical databases and registers

"We are pleased to announce a second round of funding for clinical databases and registers" said HQIP Chief Executive Robin Burgess. "The application process is open until 5pm Tuesday 31 January 2012 and we look forward to receiving interest and proposals at registers12@hqip.org.uk."
"Clinical databases and registers differ from national audits but are closely related. By offering financial support to help their continuance, we are supporting the capacity for better data, wider disseminations of results and a greater likelihood that such registers can develop into audits in the future" Burgess concluded.

Applicants must read all the guidance in the application pack and examine the funding criteria in full which covers:
-Aims, outcomes and clinical value-Data quality, governance, transparency and management
-Patient engagement
-Cost effectiveness
-Organisational governance and
-Development.
