February's London and Leeds events mark launch of PPE strategy, with training frameworks to follow
HQIP has announced the launch of its Patient and Public Engagement (PPE) strategy with the announcement of two PPE focus group events in February.
The sessions in London and Leeds will bring together patient representatives, audit professionals and clinicians.
The meetings are designed to promote the new guidance on PPE in audit, and ascertain training needs for successful PPE in clinical audit, with presentations, structured workshop discussions and a working lunch.
The meetings will take place on February 18th 2010 (The Queens Hotel Leeds, 11am-3pm) and 22nd (The Wellcome Collection London, 12.30-4pm).
"This year PPE is one of our central priorities," said HQIP Chief Executive Robin Burgess. "The publication of our comprehensive guide to PPE in audit, backed by the focus group events in February, provides everyone involved in clinical audit an excellent platform to truly engage patients and the public."
The events are free to attend for anyone involved in the clinical audit process. Those interested should contact HQIP Development Officer Kim Rezel via mailto: firstname.lastname@example.org or on 020 7469 2511.
