HQIP bursaries available for post-graduate clinical audit course

HQIP bursaries are available for students enrolling in Keele University's PG Certificate in Medical Science (Clinical Audit) by 31 January 2012. 

The course, which attracts students from around the country, focuses on clinical audit within the wider NHS operating environment.  It develops skills in clinical audit and explores issues relating to health care policy, governance, leading and managing together with quality improvement.

The PG Certificate requires successful completion of four, 15 credit modules. The modules are:

  •     Governance and Assurance in Healthcare
  •     Realising the Potential of Clinical Audit
  •     Managing Change and Quality Improvement
  •     Clinical Audit In Practice: Extended Project
The overall aims of the course are to: improve the quality and effectiveness of clinical audit projects and programmes; enhance the value of clinical audit at individual, team and organisation level and to support the professional development of those working in clinical audit - whether at clinical or non-clinical level.
