The concept has been endorsed by HQIP as part of its ongoing commitment to Patient and Public Engagement (PPE).
"This award puts the NHS and patients together at the heart of counteracting specific issues and producing tangible results," commented HQIP Chief Executive Robin Burgess. "This is the kind of collaborative working HQIP is committed to championing."
Picker will consider projects from within NHS organisations that already have a culture of patient involvement.
