HQIP backs Junior Doctor-led audit event
4 June 2010 HQIP is continuing its drive to engage with Junior Doctors next month by backing the ‘Improving the Quality of Junior Doctor Led Clinical Audit' event on 8 July at Manchester Conference Centre.
HQIP is lead sponsor of the event and National Lead for Local Quality Improvement Kate Godfrey will present a session entitled ‘How can we support Junior Doctors to deliver effective Clinical Audit projects that lead to change and improvement'.
Godfrey's session will lead on four main themes: ensuring junior doctors have the clinical audit skills they need at an early stage in their career, prioritising the elements of clinical audit that have the most impact, how to ensure continuity and re-audit and finally, ensuring junior doctor-led clinical audit is not just a tick-box exercise for career progression.
The move follows the April launch of HQIP's ‘Guide to Involving Junior Doctors in Clinical Audit', written by Nancy Dixon.
The Manchester event is being organised by Healthcare Events, which is offering reduced delegate rates for junior doctors.
