Dr Kevin Stewart

Dr Kevin StewartDr Kevin Stewart FCRP is Clinical Director of the Clinical Effectiveness & Evaluation Unit at the Royal College of Physicians in London.

His clinical background is in Elderly Care which he continues to practice part-time in Winchester. He held various leadership roles in postgraduate education and management before becoming Medical Director of Winchester and Eastleigh NHS Trust in 2005.  In 2009 he was awarded a Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellowship to spend a year at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. During this time he also enrolled for a Masters at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, which he has just completed. 

On return to the UK he became Medical Director for a national quality improvement programme at the Department of Health in London before moving to the College.
