Department of Health

The Department of Health is responsible for setting policy and funding the National Clinical Audit Patient and Outcomes Programme which is hosted by HQIP.

In addition, the National Clinical Directors and policy leads are key stakeholders for HQIP's work. HQIP will liaise closely with anyone responsible for developing policy in the Department to ensure its work is in line with broader policy direction.

HQIP will also work closely with Strategic Health Authorities in developing local audit improvement.
