Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director will open a fully booked 'Clinical Audit for Improvement' conference with a keynote address, giving an update and overview on the role of national and local audit in national improvement. The two-day programme will take place on 12 and 13 February at the Hallam Conference Centre, London.
This 2013 event combines the HQIP Annual Conference and Healthcare Conference's 'Clinical Audit and Improvement' event to create one, fully-focused event for the clinical audit community. HQIP subsidised places at the event were available specifically for clinical audit leads, managers and facilitators.
National Lead for Quality Improvement and Development Kate Godfrey said: "We are looking forward to meeting clinical audit colleagues at our event and discussing some of the pressing topics affecting them - this includes local improvement following national audit, communication to trust boards, patient involvement and audit as a commissioning tool."
"HQIP will also be announcing the winners of the Clinical Audit Awards 2013 and congratulating all finalists on their achievement. Our finalists will be presenting as part of the conference masterlasses and this is a great opportunity for us all to hear best practice examples and discuss and debate new learning" Godfrey concluded.
