CAI 2012: booking opens with 30% HQIP discount for audit staff
9 November 2011
Next year's Clinical Audit and Improvement (CAI) conference is set to take place on 7-8 February at London's Cavendish Conference Centre, organised by Healthcare Conferences UK.
For the first time in 2012 the event is being supported by HQIP, with chief executive Robin Burgess chairing the conference, and a special 30% HQIP-funded discount available for clinical audit staff.
The 2012 conference will focus on clinical audit improvement at a local level and making clinical audit work for the NHS boards.
"The NHS is facing one of its greatest periods of upheaval and financial challenge, yet clinical audit is very much at the centre of current governmental priorities as it is an unrivalled way of obtaining valuable improvements in health care practice and outcomes when these are needed most," commented Burgess. "This conference covers the main issues in audit, its relationship to wider activity on quality, and gives practical skills, knowledge and inspiration to those working in audit."
Other keynote speakers include Simon Bennett, Head of Clinical Governance, Clinical Audit and Patient Safety at the Department of Health, who will give a national update as to how national and local clinical audit is delivering improvement.
Delegate places at the HQIP discounted rate are limited and issued on a first-come, first served basis. These places are available at £350+VAT for the two days (instead of the general rate of £495+VAT) or £250+VAT for one day (down from £365).
