Clinical Audit Awards 2010: And the nominees are...
After a record number of entries were received by HQIP, the nominations for this year's Clinical Audit Awards have now been revealed.
More than 100 submissions were put forward, which have now been whittled down to three contenders in each of the six award categories.
Award highlights include the four new categories: Patient Safety, Creating or Improving Efficiencies, Partnership Working and Local Improvement Following National Audit Participation.
"There was a huge amount of excellent entries in all categories this year, which is testament to the advancements in best practice made in clinical audit in the last 12 months," commented HQIP Lead for Local Quality Improvement Kate Godfrey.
The Clinical Audit Awards ceremony takes place at The Belfry Hotel on 27th April, as part of this year's Local Clinical Audit Conference.
"The theme for this year's conference is ‘Evolution' so it was extremely apt that so may of the entries illustrate that so well," Godfrey added.
A total of eight organisations have been shortlisted, with four of these having received nominations in two categories: Hampshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
